Local Recruitment firm awarded IIP Status

We are delighted to announce that Reynolds Recruitment has been accredited with the Investors in People award.

The award follows weeks of assessment by an appointed assessor of the IIP accreditation body and the decision to award IIP status was ratified at a board meeting on Thursday 23rd July 2009.

IIP Assessor Neil Pontentier spent a number of hours visiting Reynolds, analysing their processes and procedures and interviewing key personnel and was very impressed with what he saw and heard. He said,

"The main thing I noticed during my time at Reynolds was what a friendly atmosphere there was, which obviously contributed to the high levels of morale, team spirit and enjoyment staff have in working for the company.

Everyone was really upbeat and displayed a very positive attitude, with the M.D. Rod Harris, setting the tone. The open plan layout of the office allows for openness of communication and Rod will only call a meeting when all staff are present so everyone gets the same message at the same time and they all have a chance to contribute.

I witnessed many examples of open, supportive and approachable management and staff are encouraged to make suggestions for improvements and to be involved in decision-making or make their own decisions in a 'no blame' culture.

I was also particularly impressed with the high levels of learning and commitment to studying for qualifications amongst the team. This goes way beyond what is expected, with everyone given the opportunity to study for the Certificate in Recruitment Practice and then go for the Diploma. All non-permanent staff members are offered the chance to study for NVQ's.

All people know that their respective learning is geared towards improving professional credibility and quality of delivery as well as their own personal development.

My insight into the company gave me a strong belief that Reynolds are genuinely committed tot he development of its people, with many examples of progression and people obtaining qualifications within the organisation bearing testimony to this."
