Helping you
on the Road
to Success

As Van Hee's appointed training supplier for the East Midlands, we can provide you with the peace of mind in knowing that all the staff representing your business have been trained and assessed to top quality professional standards.

Full time members of staff from Reynolds will be fully trained and endorsed to carry out LGV NVQ assessments liaising with clients to ensure minimal disruption to daily duties.

Reynolds will add further value to your business by:

Offering Class room training facilities on site at our offices in Attenborough.

Applying no charge to the client with no administration.

Ensuring that key drivers already employed by Reynolds will receive full NVQ training to
guarantee the provision of high quality personnel.

Once the NVQ qualification has been attained some of the ?off the job? sessions undertaken could potentially qualify as modules of the driver CPC qualification, which is due to be implemented this coming September (to be confirmed). Reynolds sees the Driving Goods Vehicles NVQ as a hugely important first step in what is hoped will become a much broader, full programme of assessor training in the future.

Van Hee currently provides training and assessment to achieve National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ), based on the capability of the individual to do a job. Competence is assessed through observation of practical work supported by oral questioning and project work against nationally recognised standards developed by industry. The Driving Goods Vehicles NVQ Level 2 consists of 7 Mandatory Units, all of which must be passed to achieve the qualification. Additional units can also be achieved.

Transport and logistics training has become increasingly more involved and complex, especially since the introduction of the European Driver Training Directive for PCV drivers in 2008. This is likely to intensify in 2009 when the directive is to be introduced for LGV drivers, putting further demands upon employers.
